Projects not only benefit vulnerable children, but construction work is carried out by labour from the local community so that they may gain heightened skills that can sustain them in the future.

Local Community sponsorship

We are proud to support The Family Co. which supports vulnerable families in the St George and Sutherland Region of Sydney.

In 2021, we thoroughly enjoyed taking part in a supporting role for Rock The Pool, a swimathon held across rock pools in NSW. This incredible event raised over $100,000 in support of Lifeline.

Our director, Adrian Lehane, is an avid runner who has participated in numerous Sutherland 2 Surf and City 2 Surf events, along with completing several marathons and, more recently, ultramarathons across Mudgee, the Blue Mountains, and Kosciuszko. His passion extends beyond personal achievement, as he runs to support charitable organizations, including Shake It Up, Lifeline, and the Sydney Children’s Hospital.

Community

Kwaya Australia is a not for profit organisation based in Australia. It is 100% volunteer run and 100% of every dollar goes towards the project for which it was raised. Its purpose is to raise funds to support projects in Uganda managed and executed by Music for Life/The African Children’s Choir.

Kwaya is result driven and mindful of where its donors’ funds are expended.

The African Children’s Choir Primary School opened in Kampala in 2010. A secondary level boarding school opened in September 2019. Both were constructed with the vision of realising the promise of Africa’s youth by providing education and personal development to equip them to return to their villages to generate real change.
